La Coupe du Président de la Ville de Grudziadz 2014 day one

Team RCS Cottbus have won the first semi stage of the junior race "O Puchar Prezydenta Miasta Grudziadza (original polish name for the race), morning team time trial on the distance of 12,5km. The German team won by 11" ahead of RVUFK Kyiv Cycling Team from Ukraine and 18" ahead of SMS Swidnica (last year's winners) from Poland. Marcel Franz become the first leader.

Second stage of the race has been played the same day and Danish duo from Team Kel-berg Rosklide Junior managed to stay ahead of the bunch and won the stage from breakway. Mathias Jorgensen won and his teammate Casper Pedersen finished second, 4" behind. Alan Banaszek from Poland have won the bunch sprint for third place, 29" back the two Danes. Jorgensen also become the new leader of the race, just two seconds ahead of Jasper Frahm from RCS Cottbus
